n8n is one of the most capable workflow tools around, and you can run it on your own server. That power is also the work. Here is when a hosted relay is the better fit for a trading alert.
n8n is a workflow automation platform with a self-hosted Community Edition on GitHub and hosted Cloud plans. Its Cloud Starter is listed at EUR 20 a month billed annually for 2,500 executions, and Cloud Pro at EUR 50 a month for 10,000 executions. You build the TradingView-to-Telegram workflow yourself, connect your own Telegram bot, and either host it or pay for hosting. AlertSync is a hosted relay with the route already built, starting at ₹149/mo with nothing to run.
n8n is a node-based workflow tool. You connect triggers and actions into a graph, and the same workflows can run on n8n Cloud or on a server you control. Its pricing page lists Cloud Starter and Pro plans with monthly execution allowances, and self-hosted Business and Enterprise plans with licence keys. A self-hosted Community Edition is available on GitHub, and the pricing page lists no price for it.

You want full control and already run a server. If your signal has to feed a database, an AI step, a broker API or a set of internal tools, n8n can express all of it, and self-hosting keeps the data on your own machine. Teams that enjoy building and maintaining automations will get far more from it than from a relay that does one thing.
You want the alert in Telegram and no workflow to maintain. AlertSync is hosted, the Telegram route is already built, and you go from nothing to a live alert by pasting a webhook URL. There is no server to keep running, no bot token to store and no executions to meter. Starter is ₹149/mo, and the free plan lets you test the whole flow before paying anything.
You do not have to commit to find out. The Free plan needs no card and covers 50 alerts a month, and switching an existing TradingView alert over is a single field: replace the webhook URL and save. Your alert message body, TradingView variables and templates all carry across unchanged, because AlertSync accepts plain text and JSON alike.
Read the full setup guide →The pricing page describes a self-hosted Community Edition available on GitHub, but it does not state a price for it. Its licence terms are on n8n's own licence page, and we have not summarised them here, so check them before deciding. The paid self-hosted Business plan is listed at EUR 667 a month billed annually, with a licence key that must check in with n8n's licence server.
Add a Webhook trigger to a workflow, copy the production URL it generates, and paste that into the Webhook URL field of your TradingView alert. Then add a Telegram node that posts into your chat and activate the workflow. Each step is yours to set up and maintain.
For a single TradingView-to-Telegram route, AlertSync Starter at ₹149/mo is the lower list price. n8n Cloud Starter is EUR 20 a month billed annually for 2,500 executions. n8n is priced for a much wider range of work, so the comparison only holds if you use it for this one route. Prices checked 9 October 2026.
Yes. A signal can go to AlertSync for the Telegram delivery and to an n8n workflow for logging, a sheet or a database, by setting up a second alert in TradingView. The two do not depend on each other, so either can be switched off without affecting the other.
A 33-integration alert-to-execution hub. We are cheaper on the entry tier, and it cannot bill in INR at all.
ReadThe closest like-for-like rival. AlertSync is roughly a fifth of the price for the same job.
